Living with a mental health condition can often cause fluctuating emotions. Sometimes this may result in challenging behaviour.
We have over 20 years’ experience of providing support for people with complex care needs, and always try to facilitate a calm and caring environment.
Our care strategy is co-ordinated by a specialist social worker, who has a background in mental health, to ensure we provide suitable treatments and interventions in accordance with the Mental Health Act (1983) and Mental Capacity Act (2005).
We also actively listen to the views of those under our care to ensure we continually make improvements to the services on offer.
We understand that moving to a new environment can often be unsettling for our clients.
We pride ourselves on providing a smooth transition, backed up by the highest level of care, designed to improve the well being and lifestyle quality of our clients.
We have an open and transparent approach, which demonstrates our confidence in the quality of care we provide. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
Always working towards less restrictive living. By adopting a person centred approach, we are able to support and encourage our clients to enhance their skill set and improve their quality of life. In some instances this could lead to a return to independent or supported living. This could also include giving them the skills to:
Maintaining positive relationships
Personal responsibility
Understanding of physical health
Budgeting
Developing coping strategies
